LACEY’S SPRING-Wednesday, March 26th the Morgan County Sheriff’s Deputies made a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 231 for multiple traffic violations. Here is how Sheriff Ana Franklin describes the events that followed the traffic stop:
“In the late evening hours of Wednesday, March 26th, 2014, Morgan County Sheriff’s Deputies initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on U.S Highway 231, in the Lacey’s Spring Community for multiple traffic violations. Deputies identified the driver of the vehicle as being Steve Brandon Bolton and the passenger as Quincy Nathaniel Owens.
During a search of the vehicle, Deputies located a quantity of Cocaine, several grams of Marijuana and four smoking devices that contained residue of assorted narcotics.
Deputies arrested Bolton and Owens and transported them to the Morgan County Jail.

Charges: Possession of Controlled Substance-Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Impeding the Flow of Traffic and No Seat Belt.
Bond: $3,700.00
Quincy Nathaniel Owens
Age: 35
Charges: Possession of Controlled Substance-Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Bond: $2,800.00″
