Freddie DeLong – Obituary

Freddie DeLong was born in Iowa on September 25, 1941 the son of the late Frank and Alice Marie DeLong.

On October 13, 2001 he was united in marriage to JoAnn McNear, who survives.

Mr. DeLong was a member of the Moose Lodge in Indiana. He enjoyed tinkering with things, fishing, racing cars, demolition derby and most of all he enjoyed spending time with family.

He departed this life on March 24, 2014 at his residence in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 72 years, 5 months and 27 days.

In addition to his wife JoAnn of Adamsville, Tennessee, he is survived by his children, Fred DeLong of Littleville, Alabama, Cindy Clark of Wabash, Indiana, Keith DeLong of Peru, Indiana and Lynette DeLong of Peru, Indiana.

his step children, Lorri DeLong of Littleville, Alabama, Doreen Handing of Adamsville, Debbie Burney of Chicago, Illinois and Ray Handing of Savannah, Tennessee

many grandchildren and great grandchildren

two sisters, Judy DeLong and Linda DeLong

two brothers, Leonard DeLong and Jack DeLong

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Deanna DeLong and five grandchildren, Skyler Vanhoose, Michelle DeLong, Tristain Campbell, Alyssa & Kayann DeLong
