Mary Ann George – Obituary

Mary Ann George, 90, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born April 24, 1923, in Wisconsin to Johna J. and Harriott Jacobson George. She retired from Dumore Incorporated in Racine, Wisconsin. She moved to the Peaceful Valley community from Wisconsin fifteen years ago. She was of the Lutheran faith and enjoyed drawing and reading.

 

Services will be at 11 a. m. Saturday, March 15, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. David Perry officiating. Burial will be in the Keyes Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of the arrangements.

 

Survivors include her caregivers, Carroll and Dorothy Leslie, of the Richmond community; and friends, Mike and Kim Loyd of Eggville, Tim and Debbie Leslie of the Richmond community, and Hollie Marcy of Mooreville.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; several brothers and sisters; and a special friend, Billie Ruth Donald.

 

Pallbearers will be Robert Wilburn, Billy Wayne Wilburn, Joey Wilburn, Eddie Wilburn, Forrest Wilburn, and Tim Leslie.

 

Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Dogwood Plantation, Brent Marcy, and Myra Mabry.

 

Visitation will be from 10 a. m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
