Carroll Jacqueline “Jacquie” Girdner Dorriety, 81 of Harvest, AL went to be with her Lord, whom she served faithfully, on March 10, 2014. She and her husband hand-in-hand ministered to Church of Christ congregations in several states as well as missions in The United Kingdom, Ireland, Russia and other countries.
Jacquie was preceded in death by her parents, Edison and Willie Mae (Henderson) Girdner of Andalusia, AL.
Surviving are her devoted husband of 63 years, William Bryan Dorriety and four daughters; Teresa (Perry) Phillips, Joni (Joe) Howell, Diane (Al) Sprinkle, and Wendy Yarbro, 7 grandchildren; Bryan, Chris, Sean, Mindy, Megan, Andrew, and Mollie and 11 great-grandchildren. Jacquie set an example by achieving her lifetime goal of earning a college degree after becoming a grandmother. Devoted to her husband, family, and service to God she skillfully taught ladies Bible classes and conducted seminars. Honey, Mother, Grandmom we love you…till we meet again.
