Carl Gibson, Jr., 57, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died Sunday, March 9, 2014, at his residence. Mr. Gibson was a long-time truck driver. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 11, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 12, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Merl Dixon. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery. Pallbearers include James Kennedy, Junior Kennedy, Chris Kennedy, Eddie Dunn, Gage Kennedy, J. R. Kennedy, Lee Kennedy, Adam Kennedy, and Jammie Kennedy. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Gibson of Burnsville; his mother, Betty Gibson of Iuka; five sons, James Kennedy of Iuka, Junior Kennedy of Paden, Mark Kennedy of Burnsville, Adam Kennedy of Iuka, and Lee Kennedy of Iuka; one daughter, Donna Hall of Burnsville; two brothers, Bill Gibson of Laurel, and Buck Gibson of Tatum, NM; two sisters, Sue Helmer of Tatum, NM, and Marie Kennedy of Paden; fifteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Gibson, Sr.
