Charles William Weaver, 74, of the Patton Flat community, died Saturday, March 8, 2014, at the Courtyards Community Living Center. He was born September 2, 1939, to Harvey Dector and Alma Mae Gentry Weaver. He was a self-employed concrete finsisher for over 30 years in addition to farming and raising hogs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trading, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a. m. Monday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton. Burial will be in the Weaver Family Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Ruth Cleveland Weaver; two sons, Chad Weaver (Betsy) and Stuart Weaver (Niki); and three grandchildren, Cody Weaver, Mason Weaver, and Madison Weaver, all of the Patton Flat community.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers, Rex, Lamoine, Hollis, Audrey, and Horace Weaver.
Pallbearers will be Ken Lentz, Jeff Lentz, Gary Hamm, Tim Hayes, Phillip Cleveland, and Steve Cleveland.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p. m. Sunday at the funeral home.
