Clyde Carlton Austin Sr., age 79, of Central Heights, died, Friday, March 7, 2014. The visitation will be Sunday, March 9th from 1-2:00p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral will follow at 2:00p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Roger Houston will be officiating. Interment will be at Wesley’s Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Austin was retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service.
He was a member of Central Heights Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Virginia Austin and sister Carolyn Yoder.
Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Rosalie Bullion Austin; son, Carl (Rita) Austin Jr.; daughters, Ann (Doug) Goins and Joanna (Rodney) Peters; grandchildren, Matt(Kendra) Austin, Derrick (Brooke) Austin, Monika (Drew) Brooks, Brock (Tessa) Peters, Anna Peters, Ryan O’Guin, and Reagan (Will) Cassidy; 6 great-grandchildren, Abigail and Ella Jo Brooks, Wyatt and Luke Austin, and Addy and Adam Skelton, nieces, Karen (Marvin) Prince, Debra Houston and Brenda Moore.
Pallbearers will be Brock Peters, Matt Austin, Derrick Austin, Drew Brooks, Gerald Lindley and Kevin Bullion.
