James Harold Heard, 67 of Harvest, Alabama died on Thursday, February 27, 2014, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
Born Saturday, April 20, 1946 in Harvest, Alabama, he was the son of the late Zona Heard and the late Mary Brooks Heard. He was a lifelong resident of this area and loved Auburn Football and NASCAR racing. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Elmer Heard, and a sister: Inez Heard.
Surviving are his wife: Geneva Patterson Heard of Harvest, AL, son, James Wade (Christy) Heard of Toney, AL, brother, Barley Heard of Toney, AL, sister, Gladys Jones of Albertville, AL, and two grandchildren: Britney Heard and Chelsey Heard.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
