H.C. “Mike” Wilkinson – Obituary

H.C. “Mike” Wilkinson, 69, peacefully passed away on February 5, 2014, three years after moving to Huntsville, AL for retirement from Ocala, FL. He was raised in Mississippi. After graduating from Mississippi State University, he relocated to Florida to become a cattle buyer. There, along with his wife, Milly Holmes Wilkinson, they raised their family and enjoyed their grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Milly Holmes Wilkinson; children Kendal W. Sceals, Apopka, FL; Kerry W. (Hal) Floyd, Ocala, FL; Lindsay W. (Rob) Jenson, Huntsville, AL; Logan W. (Tony) Vindett, Ocala, FL; Kyle S. Wilkinson, Ocala, FL; son, Michael Sterling Wilkinson, preceded him in death; grandchildren Carley A. Wilkinson and Alex C. Rowell, both of Ocala, FL; Caroline S. Sceals, Hannah E. Sceals, and Camryn R. Sceals, all of Apopka, FL; Wilks B. Jenson and Briggs M. Jenson, both of Huntsville, AL.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date in Ocala, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the church building fund of First Baptist Church, Huntsville, AL. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
