Robert John (Doc) Bolden, age 84, of Tuscumbia, Alabama, died January 18, 2014. The visitation will be Sunday from 6-8:00p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral will be Monday at 11:00a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Bro. Wayne Flemming and Bro. Jerry Hester will be officiating. Interment will be at Barton Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Bolden.
He was a member of Family Worship Center.
Survivors include son Jeff Bolden, #2 son, Billy Bolden, and Michael Bolden, daughters, Linda Vickers, Janice Stanfield, Pat Stanfield, Diane George, Laura Hallmark and Penny Hickman; brother, Calvin Bolden; sister, Betty Dees, 29 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Chris Bolden, Jamie Stanfield, Tim Stanfield, Mark Bolden, Brad Bolden, and Ethan Dunn.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Mitchell Hollingsworth and Southern Care Hospice.
