Funeral service for James William “Billy” Hogan, 81, of Hartselle will be Monday January 20, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home with Rev. J.W. Doss and Bro. Mack Carter officiating. Burial will be at Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday January 19, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Hogan died Saturday January 18, 2014 at Falkville Healthcare. He was born August 29, 1932 in Morgan County to James Luther Hogan and Sarah Bernice Herring Hogan. Mr. Hogan was a Korean War veteran, a lifetime member of the D.A.V. and a retired truck driver and diesel mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son: Steven Hogan.
