Jonel Isom Daniel, of Florence, Ala., born Jan. 12, 1939, in Russellville, Ala., passed from this life Aug. 22, 2013, in Fort Myers, Fla., after an extended illness.
Mrs. Daniel was a member of the South Side Church of Christ in Fort Myers and was formerly a member of the Helton Drive Church of Christ in Florence. She was a retired teacher for Head Start in Florence, Ala.
The graveside service will be Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at Greenview Memorial Park in Florence, Ala., at 10 a.m., with Bill Hall and Dave Schmidt officiating. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until service time at Greenview Funeral Home.
Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by her father, James Clifford Isom, and mother, Icie Bernice Porter Isom.
She is survived by her husband, Charles A. Daniel; daughter, Lisa L. Daniel, of Fort Myers, Fla.; son, James Christopher Daniel, wife Melinda, of Florence, Ala.; brother, Steven Douglas Isom and wife, Nancy, Decatur, Ga.; one nephew and two nieces.
