marthaMartha Louise Eaves, 85 of Waterloo, AL passed away Sunday ,August 25, 2013. She was a native of Savannah, TN and a longtime resident of Waterloo, AL. She was a member of the Waterloo Church of Christ, Waterloo Senior Citizens Center, North Alabama Dulcimer Club and the Waterloo Dulcimer Club and volunteered at the Edith Culver Museum in Waterloo.
Louise was known by many names such as “E-Jack” to her nieces and nephews and “Weezy” to her church family but was known by all as a practical joker who always had fun and lived life to the fullest.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2013 from 10-11:00 a.m. at Waterloo Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with David Rushlow officiating. Burial will be in Richardson Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Eaves; parents, Marvin and Lillie Austin and nine brothers and sisters.
Survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank her longtime physician Dr. Danny McFall, and a special thanks to her caregiver Virginia White for three years of loving care.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Richardson Cemetery Fund or the Waterloo Church of Christ.
