Jerel Scott Petty Jr., age 35 of Jasper, formally of Huntsville, passed away October 23, 2026 in Jasper, Alabama. He was born January 07, 1991 to Jerel Petty Sr. and Stacey Strong. Jerel loved his family most of all. He enjoyed playing games and making movies. Fall was his favorite time of the year. Jerel was a jokester; he lived life to the fullest. To know him was to love him. Visitation will be October 31, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Homes, where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Brother Ricky White will officiate.
