Terri Edgin Profile Photo In Loving Memory of Terri Guy Edgin

August 15, 1961 – October 27, 2026

“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness.”

Proverbs 31:25–26

Terri Guy Edgin, lovingly known as Terri, Honey Bunches, Mom, and Nana, will forever be remembered for her strength, dignity, laughter, wisdom, and, most of all, her unconditional love, patience, and kindness.

Terri dedicated 28 years of her life to the Chester County School System, where she made lasting memories and formed many wonderful friendships. She retired in July 2026 and was looking forward to spending more time with her family and enjoying retirement alongside the one and only true love of her life, her beloved husband, Bubba.

Family was everything to Terri. Her daughters, sons-in-law, and grandchildren were the center of her world. She was happiest when everyone gathered around the table, sharing a meal, laughter, and time together. Some of her family’s favorite meals included chili, potato soup, and grilled cheese sandwiches. Terri also had a way of making sure everyone minded their manners, often reminding them to “watch your mouth”—a familiar phrase that will surely bring smiles and fond memories for years to come.

Terri had a heart that was always ready to help others. Whether lending a helping hand or simply holding someone’s hand when they needed comfort, she knew how to make people feel loved and supported. Her kindness was not limited to her immediate family. She shared a special bond with her mother, sisters, and brother, serving as much more than a daughter and sister. She was a source of comfort, strength, and love, always willing to be there when someone needed her.

Terri’s legacy is one of love, resilience, wisdom, and devotion. She taught those around her the importance of family, the value of kindness, and the strength that comes from facing life with dignity and a sense of humor. Her laughter, loving spirit, and the countless memories she created will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.

Though her family and friends must now learn to live without her physical presence, the love she gave so freely will never fade. She leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a legacy that will continue through the generations she loved so dearly.

Terri is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Bubba Edgin; her daughters, Wendy Reed (Thomas) and Hope Thomas (Caleb); and her grandchildren, Jessica, Jaycie, and Gunner Reed, and Maggie and Wilder Thomas.

She is also survived by her mother, Betty Guy; her sisters, Tracey Kelly (Tim) and Tina Russell (Jay); her brother, Richie Guy; her niece, Rachel Bailey (Michael); her nephew, Charles Taylor Kelly (Lizzie); and her great-nephew, Beau Michael Bailey. She leaves behind many other loving family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Terri’s life was a beautiful reminder that true strength is found in love, wisdom is shared through kindness, and the greatest legacy we can leave is the love we give to others.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Until we meet again.
