Jessie Mae (Carroll) Neloms was born June 1, 1947, to Jessie and Junetta Carroll. She departed her life on Monday, October 26, 2026, at her home surrounded by loved ones. She confessed to Christ as a young adult and was a member of New Bethel A.M.E. Church of Sheffield, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willliam Neloms; parents, Jessie and Junetta Carroll; siblings, Henrietta Hogan, Pearline (James) Ford, James “Jr.” Carroll, Earnest Carroll, Sr., and Michael Carroll.
She leaves to celebrate her life:
Two loving daughters, Natalie Neloms, Chiquita Neloms; one loving and devoted son, Tyrone Neloms; four dedicated sisters, Brenda Carroll, Gloria Carroll, Jackie Carroll, and Vera Carroll; three devoted brothers, Tommy Carroll, Arthur (Shirley) Carroll, and Larry (Donna) Carroll; nine devoted grandchildren, Starisha Neloms, Xazavier Suggs, Jaleen Ricks, Laray Garner, Montavia (Mareo) Moss, Tyrese Neloms, ZeAndrea Neloms, KeAndrea Neloms, Dy’quiesha Beasley, and Dante Broughton; six great-grandchildren, Kyzlin Kelly, Za’mora White, Tatum Broughton, Acesyn Neloms, Collins Mae Ricks, and Zachary Neloms; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
