Sherry “Cindy” Lucindy Seymour, age 64, of Muscle Shoals, passed away on October 24, 2026. A time of visitation will be held 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2026, at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia.
Sherry was known to most as Cindy, and by those who adore her most as mom and Ci-Ci.
Throughout her years she sought fun and adventure, embracing her role as a mother at a young age, steamrolling through life’s challenges and eventually creating a life that anyone could admire. Her talent for art and her natural, unmatched sense of creativity fostered beauty in our lives, and in most of our homes.
Cindy left her own special mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to have her in their lives. Her love, her kindness, her strength, and the memories she created will continue to live on in the people who loved her. There are many special memories that we will carry forever, things that may have seemed ordinary at the time, but now mean more than one could ever explain.
She is preceded in death by her father, James Hershel Winsted and sister, Kandy Joy Williams.
Cindy leaves to cherish her memories, her husband and soulmate, Walter Seymour; children, Jamie Capps (Jason), Dustin Files; mother, Sue Whisenent; sister, Mitzi Johnson (Shane); grandchildren, Layla Capps, Izaiah Blackford, Christian Bell, and Zayla Files; niece, Maggie Williams Holt; and nephew, Trooper Johnson.
