We ask that you remember the family of David J. Alexander, age 80, of Trinity, who passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at his home.
David was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, and Pop to his family. He loved spending time with his family, children, and grandchildren, and great-granddaughter, who were a joy to him. He dearly loved the Lord and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
He retired from BP after working many years in welding and maintenance. Over the years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, yard work, raising a garden, and, most of all, caring for his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Alexander and Stella McBroom.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Dot; brother, Cranford Alexander; daughter, Susan Alexander (husband, Todd Harley); and son, Chris Alexander; grandchildren, Tyler Alexander, Alan Coker, and great-granddaughter, Scarlett Alexander.
The visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will be 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Midway Memorial Gardens.
