Paul Bryant Hester, 85, of Florence, AL, passed away October 14, 2026. Bryant was the long-time parts manager for Ray Miller Buick. He was a native of Franklin County, AL, having been born at home, and was a member of Woodlawn Church of Christ. Bryant was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America and loved tinkering with his old autos. He was well known for never driving past a yard sale or estate sale and loved to make a good deal on items for his booth at the sale barn with his brother Van. Bryant is survived by: Wife: Patricia Ann Abernathy Hester Sons: Tim Hester and Rodney Hester (Monica) Daughter: Natalie Allen (Newman) Brothers: Leldon Hester (Linda) and Van Hester (Kaye) Grandchildren: Sarah Goodman (Grant), Elijah Hester (Natalie), and Carley Allen Brother-In-Law: Steve Smith Sister-In-Law: June Clark (John Mark) He was preceded in death by: Parents: Archie Leldon Hester and Eula Flora Bolton Hester Sisters: Joyce Hester and Sue Smith Visitation will be Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Woodlawn Church of Christ. The funeral will follow at the church at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Matt Heupel officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Church of Christ Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim Hester, Rodney Hester, Elijah Hester, Leldon Hester, Van Hester, and Newman Allen.
