Ernest “Ernie” H. Stephens Jr., 79, of Jasper, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Baptist Health Princeton Hospital.A memorial service will be Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Burial will be at Alabama National cemetery in Montevallo.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores “Pixie” Stephens; parents, Ernest and Juanita Stephens; sister, Linda Sue Pearson; son, Robert Corral II; grandson, Joshua Corral; and great grandson, Cannon Hallman.
He is survived by his daughters, Dolores Cheechee Clements (Mike) of Daphne and Kim White of Sumiton; son Craig Corral of Dora; grandchildren, Scott Hallman of Jasper, Doug Hallman of Texas, Karen Gurley of Daphne and Jennifer Hayes (Jon) of North Carolina; great grandchildren, Haleigh and Judson Hallman, Carsyn Gurley, Allyson and Jon Michael Hayes; sister, Martha Hudson (Lonnie); and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
