Kathy Moucha Moore (Nanny) of Oxford, Alabama, passed away on October 3, 2026, at Baptist Health Calhoun at the age of 66. She was born in Columbus, Mississippi, and graduated from Millport High School in 1978, where she was a cheerleader and absolutely loved it.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Eugene Moore, and her parents, Paul Delane Moucha and Dorothy Earlene Ford Moucha Blakeney.
She is survived by her two children, Jerry Paul Moore (Tiphanie) and Jennifer Moore Barnett. She is also survived by her sisters, whom she loved dearly: Deborah Moucha, Sandra Moucha Markham (Edwin), Teresa Moucha Barnes (Carl), and Shanna Moucha Long.Her grandchildren are Katelyn Brooke Harris (Hayden), Kensley Lauren Moore, Kade Jerry Heath, Benjamin Jerry Moore, and Gabriel Thomas Moore; and her great-grandchildren are Maddux Jude Harris and Millie Kate Harris.
Kathy will be remembered for the love she had for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a deep, personal relationship with Jesus, and she leaves behind a lifetime of sweet memories, a love for I Love Lucy, and a legendary love for Candy Crush. She will be deeply missed, never forgotten, and forever remembered.
