Kenneth Ford Hand, 81, Tuscumbia, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2026. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 13, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 14, at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Tuscumbia, with Kirk Bishop and Chris Hand officiating. The body will lie-in- repose from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Kenneth was a lifelong resident of Tuscumbia and a veteran of the Alabama National Guard. He was a retired supervisor at Robbins Tire and Rubber. Kenneth was an avid fisherman and golfer and enjoyed coaching his girls and grandchildren in all their sporting endeavors.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Barbara Gail Hand; parents, Earnest and Ada Hand; brothers, J.C. and Ray Hand; sister, Patricia Smith; and son-in-law, Timothy Hill.
Kenneth is survived by daughters, Gina Denton, Laurie Beth Hand, and Kimberley Hand; brothers, Steve Hand (Susan), Joel Hand (Rita), and Paul Hand (Lucy); sister, Annie McClure; grandchildren, Hannah Brooks (Ty), Levi Hill, Logan Hill, and Ella Hill, and Sawyer Denton; great-granddaughter, Haisley Brooks; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family expresses special thanks to Dr. Lango and staff for their care and kindness shown to Kenneth.
