JACKSON COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident in Jackson County has taken the life of a Crossville man:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 10:50 a.m. Friday, October 9, has claimed the life of a Crossville man.
Michael D. Morgan, 62, was fatally injured when the 2013 Acura MDX that he was driving left the roadway, stuck a culvert and overturned. Morgan was not using a seat belt at the time of crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Jackson County 43 near Jackson County 48, approximately two miles south of Section, in Jackson County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
