Jennifer Wooten Lawrence Jennifer Wooten Lawrence, 71, passed away on October 5th, 2026. She was born on January 4th, 1955, to Price Wooten and Evelyn Wooten.

Jennifer was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a devoted wife to her husband, James Thomas Lawrence, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage. Her family was the heart of her life, and she treasured the time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter.

She is survived by her daughters, Christy Lawrence Smith (Michael) and Brandie Lawrence Hanserd (Stewart); granddaughter, Jordan Xayavong (Austin); grandson, Joshua Smith (Lauren Street); step-grandsons, Landon Hanserd and Jacob Hanserd; great-granddaughter, Sadie Leigh Xayavong; and brother, Roger Wooten (Shirley).

Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents, Price and Evelyn Wooten, and her beloved husband of 54 years, James Thomas Lawrence.

Jennifer was a devout Christian who loved her Lord and her church family dearly. She was a member of Truth Baptist for many years.

One of Jennifer’s greatest pleasures was her great-granddaughter, Sadie Leigh, and spending all the time she could with her.

Funeral services will be held at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, October 9th, 2026. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Donald Terry will officiate, with music provided by Shannon Terry. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jack Gaston, Andy Thompson, Josh Smith, Austin Xayavong, Buck Marlow, Louie Holland, Kasey Wooten, and Johnny Newton. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Wooten, Anthony Lawrence, and Calvin Lawrence.

Jennifer will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
