Rebecca “Becky” Turner Evans, age 79 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away September 6, 2026. She was a retired School Teacher with the Haleyville City Schools, and a member of First Baptist Church Haleyville.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church Haleyville. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Jim Cooley officiating. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Todd (Heather) Evans and Brooke (Jason) Yarbrough; grandchildren, Will (Mary Margaret) Evans, Mary Kathryn Evans, Rome Yarbrough, Nash Yarbrough, Dixon Evans and Maddie Jane Evans.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William “Brooks” Turner and Reba McMeans Turner; husband, Vance Evans; and grandson, Wes Evans.
