William Kenney Hunter Profile Photo Kenny Hunter, born on July 30, 1960, in Huntsville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2026, at the home he cherished and lovingly renovated. Kenny was a man of many talents and a warm spirit, whose laughter and kindness touched the lives of all who knew him.

 

Kenny was the beloved son of the late Mary Emma and Kelly Hunter. He is predeceased by his dear sister Jettie Teeters, brother Kelly Hunter, as well as his nieces Carrie Vieira Morgan and Dewana Fletcher, and nephews Donald Fletcher and Dustin Hunter. Kenny leaves behind his cherished sister, Barbara Vieira, and her husband, Manuel Vieira. He is also survived by his loving nieces Denise Fletcher, Demetria Fletcher, and Donna Hill, and his nephews Michael Hunter, Josh Hunter, Anthony Vieira, and Joey Vieira as well as se eral great neices and nephews and cousins.

 

His family and friends will miss him dearly, as will all who had the privilege of knowing him.

 

Kenny was a self-made man with a keen business acumen. He built a successful career as a self-employed entrepreneur in real estate and owned several car lots. His love for business was matched only by his passion for restoring old cars. Kenny’s talent for breathing new life into vehicles was a testament to his dedication and skill, as well as his belief that everything deserved a second chance.

 

Known for his quick wit and infectious sense of humor, Kenny had an unparalleled ability to bring joy to any room. He loved sharing a good joke and found happiness in making others smile. His intelligence and humor made him not only a successful businessman but a cherished friend to many.

 

A service to celebrate Kenny’s life will be held at 2:00 PM at Hampton Cove. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Hampton Cove Funeral Home for their compassionate support during this difficult time.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Kenny’s memory to a charity of your choice.

 

Kenny’s legacy of love, laughter, and resilience will live on in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace, reunited with those who have gone before him.
