Jerry Don Atkins, age 92 of Jasper, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 along with his wife Betty Ruth Atkins at Cordova Health and Rehabilitation.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 4, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Don Graham will officiate.
Mr. Atkins was preceded in death by his Parents-Rufus and Pairlee Atkins; Sisters-DeVerla Buchanan, Agnes Kitchens, Mary Etta Best, Ruthie Dee Harbin and Doris Rushing; Brothers-Lovis Atkins, Millard Atkins, Arlan Atkins, Homer Atkins and Grady Atkins.
He is survived by his Sons-Kevin Atkins (Ginger) and Gary Atkins; 5 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; Host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Bryant Atkins, John Williams, Daryl Rushing, Jerry Harbin, Michael Allison, Banyon Allison, Chris Caldwell, Terry Harbin and Kyle Harbin.
