Geraldine (Gerrie) Vaughn Lake of Pulaski passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2026 at Southern Tennessee Regional Lawrenceburg. She was born in Buhl, Alabama on December 13, 1941 and was 84 years old.
Gerrie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an active member of First Baptist Church and was a member of the Sunshine Class. Gerrie was one of the first in her family to graduate from college, she proudly earning her bachelor’s degree in business statistics from the University of Alabama. Gerrie was a past member of a gardening club, bridge club, and gourmet club, enjoying the friendships each brought into her life. A breast cancer survivor, Gerrie exemplified strength and perseverance.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 5th from 2:00 until 3:00pm at First Baptist Church in Pulaski, TN
The funeral service will follow at 3:00pm on Thursday, November 5th, 2026 at First Baptist Church in Pulaski, TN
The burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church, Giles County Library, or the charity of your choice.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Addie Channell Vaughn, her husband, Steve Hershel Lake, nephews, Jimmy Blake and Brian Lake, brothers-in-law, James Blake, James Holt, and Mike Lake.
