David Wendel Lee, 71, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away on August 29, 2026. He was born on October 4, 1954 to Voight and Lillie Mae Lee.
David graduated from Good Hope high school in 1973, carrying forward a steady determination and quiet courage that would shape the life he built and the people he cared for.
In March 1994, David married Cynthia Edge. Though she preceded him in death, their marriage remained a lasting part of his story, marked by devotion and the selfless love he gave to his family.
He retired from cullman cabinet and supply company after 25 years, remembered for the dependable, generous spirit he brought to his work and for the gentle, kind-hearted way he treated those around him.
David found joy in working on drag cars and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, pursuits that reflected both his boldness and his steady hands—interests he approached with care, patience, and pride. Above all, he will be remembered as a loving husband, loving grandfather, and loving father—beloved for his compassionate presence, his gentle strength, and the quiet ways he put others first.
David is survived by his daughter, Brandi Walker(Mark); his sons, Brandon Lee(Bethany), Justin Ross Lee(Sara) and Justin Blake Lee; his brothers, Gary Lee(Lanza) and Julious Lynn Lee; his grandchildren, Emilee Lee, Avery Lee, Nash Norman, Ethen Lee, Rhea Norman, Cooper Lee and Case Lee; and a host of extended family and friends.
David was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Edge Lee; his parents, Voight and Lillie Mae Lee; and his grandparents, Jay and Mary Hunt & Earl and Rutha Lee.
Visitation will be held at Moss-Service Funeral Home, on September 2, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will follow at Moss-Service Funeral Home at 1:00 pm.
Graveside Committal Service will be held at Cullman City Cemetery, 9th St SW, Cullman, AL 35055.
