Nancy Elizabeth Poarch, age 79, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away Friday, August 28, 2026, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Nancy was born June 6, 1947, in Pulaski, Tennessee, to the late Rollie Poarch and Sallie Adams Poarch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Ina Lou White, Frances Whilhote and Sally Ann Burke; brother Joe Poarch; niece Lou Ann Bailey.
She is survived by her brother, Golie Poarch of Lewisburg; sister Pat Estes of Columbia; niece Marci Collins of Cornersville.
She worked for several years as a cashier at the Tennessean Truck Stop in Cornersville. She will be remembered for the loving care she gave so freely to her brother and other family members. Her devotion was steady, generous, and deeply meaningful, showing the kind of heart that put family first. She found joy in simple comforts—shopping, collecting the things she loved, watching older television shows, and listening to classic country music. These everyday pleasures reflected her warmth, personality, and the memories that will remain with those who knew and loved her. Her life leaves behind a legacy of care, loyalty, and love that will not be forgotten.
Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, TN, on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
Graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 12:00 pm at Lynnwood Cemetery in Lynnville, Tennessee, with burial to follow.
