Lougene was a simple woman who found joy in the things she loved most. She had a special love for flowers and gardening and spent many years enjoying the beauty she created around her. She also enjoyed sewing, a skill she practiced throughout her younger years and shared with those around her and her community.

Lougene retired from Southern Motion after many years of dedicated work and after working many years at Action in Belden.

Lougene and her beloved husband, Don, shared 59 years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with family, love, and countless memories. She cherished her family dearly and took great pride in her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Lougene wanted a short and sweet sending off, and that is exactly what she leaves behind—a life simply lived, deeply loved, and beautifully remembered. Her greatest legacy will be the family she loved so dearly and the memories she leaves in the hearts of all who knew her.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
