John Ellis Gifford Jr., 74, of Florence, passed away at home on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. John was a retired Warranty Manager for Neely Coble.
There will be a graveside service at Jessie’s Garden on Monday, August 31, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. with family officiating.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Gifford; father, John Gifford Sr.; mother, Lois Gifford.
He is survived by his son, John Gifford III; step-son, Sam McClung; step-daughter, Stephanie Pennington (Ron); brother, Anthony Gifford (Valerie); sister, Charlotte Yerby; grandchildren, Zach and Maddie Pennington.
