Martha Jane DeVaney, age 80, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Helen Keller Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Neal David DeVaney; parents, Glasgow & Marie Miller; brothers, Conard Miller and Terry Miller.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, John David DeVaney (Jonna); grandchildren, Madelyn Mashburn (Sam), John Bradford DeVaney; great-grandson, Luke Henry Mashburn; brothers, Bobby Miller (Linda), and Don Miller. A host of nephews and other family members.
The visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2026, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Andy Gasque will be officiating the service. Burial will be at Calvary Baptist Cemetery, Tuscumbia, Al.
The pallbearers will be Lee Miller, Matt Miller, Jason Miller, Anthony Miller, Mitchell Oliver and Chris Hand.
