First Sergeant Percy James Goodloe (Ret.) departed this life on August 9, 2026 at his home.
After retiring from the U.S. Army in 1991 with 27 dedicated and devoted years of military service. He obtained employment with Walmart in Elizabethtown, KY for five years. He also worked closely with the late First Sergeant Ralph Martinez in assisting other retired and disabled veterans and their families with their benefits throughout the local and surrounding counties.
The funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. on August 29, at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, 2072 S Dixie Blvd., Radcliff, KY 40160 with Burial on Monday, August 31, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff. Visitation will be on Saturday, August 29th from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
