Charlotte Ann Johnson, age 71, of Athens, Alabama passed away on August 22, 2026.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Payton Johnson and her parents, John Martin and Corene Gordon; sister, Carol Kieff and Jim Gordon.
She is survived by her son, John Paul (Cameron); grandchildren, Chelsa (Adam) and Nathan Mull.
She enjoyed her family, her dogs, and her beloved Peanut. She liked to fish and be out in nature. She was simple but full of life and personality.
The graveside service for Mrs. Johnson will be Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at New Salem Cemetery, at 2:00 p.m. The visitation will be Tuesday, from 12:00 to 12:55 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be at New Salem Cemetery.
The family would like to express gratitude for the care of the Hospice of North Alabama.
