HILLSBORO-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident has takeb the lif of a Tennessee man:
“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 5:40 a.m. Thursday, August 20, has claimed the life of an Iron City Tennessee, man.
William T. Keeton, 23, was fatally injured when the 2016 Ford Fusion he was driving struck the rear of the 2018 Freightliner Garbage Truck driven by Donald R. Gibson, 64, of Courtland. Keeton was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 20 near the 56 mile marker, less than one mile west of Hillsboro city limits, in Lawrence County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
