Mrs. Cathy Sue Carver, age 71, passed away Monday, August 17, 2026, in Nashville, TN. She was born July 24, 1955, in Lexington to the late Graper Daws Rogers and Martha Teague Rogers.
Cathy retired from the United States Postal Service after many years of dedicated service. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family deeply. Known affectionately as “Granny Carver,” she brought love and warmth to those around her and treasured the special bond she shared with her grandchildren.
Cathy had many interests and simple joys that made life special. She was an avid reader and enjoyed collecting teapots. She dearly loved her dogs, never missed an opportunity to watch basketball, and especially enjoyed listening to live gospel music. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she loved her church and church family dearly.
Cathy will be remembered for the love she gave so freely to her family, her caring heart, and the many special memories she created with those she loved.
She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Carver; two sons, Adam Carver (Brittany) and Kevin Bonee (Jamie); one sister, Gail Rogers; and two grandchildren, Scarlett Carver and Jensen Carver.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2026, in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Campground Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
