Nancy Lee Jeter Spry, age 78, of Florence, passed away in Florence, Alabama on August 17, 2026. Nancy was born in Waxahachie, Texas on April 18, 1948 to Dr. James Neal Jeter, Sr. and Carolyn Wilma Knott Robertson. She married Royce Allen Spry, Jr. in Florence in 1969.
Mrs. Spry leaves behind her son, Matthew Spry of Florence; her sister Kelly Jeter Leavitt of Forest Grove, Oregon; her brother, Dr. James Neal Jeter, Jr. (Teri) of Madison, Alabama; her brother-in-law, William Mark Spry of Florence; her sister-in-law, Cindy Spry Strickland of Florence along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sisters, Barbara Jeter Blackwood and Susan Jeter Ellis, her brother-in-laws, Alan Blackwood and Jim Leavitt and her nephew, William Tyler Spry.
No funeral or memorial service will be held.
