Linda Joyce Singleton, 56, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at the North Mississippi Medical Center hospice unit. She was born June 21, 1970, to Troy JB and Nettie Louise Lesley Langley. She previously worked at the bicycle plant in Mantachie and had done construction work. She last worked at the Baymont Hotel in Tupelo as a receptionist. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching Little House on the Prairie. She especially enjoyed being around her grandchildren.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 15, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Samual Raper officiating. Burial will be in the Unity Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Shanda Blankenship of Mantachie and Nina Mitchem of Becker; three grandchildren, Lisa Kilgo, Richard Kilgo, and Lakota Johnson; one brother, Darrell Walton of Fulton; three sisters, Sherry Rowe of Rienzi, Debbie Langley of Kirkville, and Faye Dew of Tupelo.
She was preceded in death by one son, Shelby JB Anderson; one grandchild, Baby Mitchem; and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Marcus Newsome, Bill Smith, Camron Dawson Newsome, Carson Newsome, and Joe Mitchem.
Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Kilgo, Mark Langley, Kennon Smith, William Smith, Clay Newsome, and Preston Langley.
Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
