Roger Summar, 77, of Ripley passed away Monday, August 10, 2026 at his residence. Visitation will begin at 12 PM Friday at Garner Funeral Home in Ripley with funeral services to follow at 2 PM. Interment will be in Woodville Cemetery.
Mr. Summar was a retired maintenance worker for Muellar Brass.
The husband of Dorothy Wiseman Summar, he is survived by a daughter Amy Edmundson of Dyersburg; a step-daughter Janie McCormack of Edisto Island, SC; a step-son Alan Lorton of Springfield, IL; a brother Jerry Summar of Ripley and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
