Robert “Buddy” Douthit, 75, of Town Creek, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026. The visitation will be Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The memorial service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with brother Thomas Thornton officiating.
Robert was a volunteer with East Franklin VFD for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clinton Talmadge “CT” and Jeanette Opal Peacock Douthit; brother, Butch Douthit; and sisters, Patsy Swearingen and Charlene Franklin.
He is survived by his spouse, Connie Terry; children, Clint Douthit (Shalena) of Foley, AL and Rob Douthit of Russellville, AL; sister, Nora Frazier (Mark); grandchildren, Austin of Texas and Braden and Camrin of Foley, AL; stepsons, Dathan Terry (Tracy) of Muscle Shoals and Josh Terry; and step grandchildren, Ashlyn, Brittan, Paisley, Gavin Terry, Jake, and Sadie Terry.
