Sara Ann Hardin Profile Photo Sara Ann Hardin, born on February 21, 1940, in Buena Vista, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2026, in Jackson, Tennessee. Sara was devoted to her family, her church and her community. She touched countless lives during her eighty-six years.

She was a member at Woodland Baptist Church and found great joy in the fellowship of the church family. Sara dedicated more than forty years of her professional life to the Cardiothoracic Surgery Center, where she worked as the office manager. Her professionalism and compassion left a lasting mark on patients, families and colleagues.

She found great joy in playing the piano and painting. She also had a deep love for animals, she especially cherished her dogs, who were constant companions and sources of comfort.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Roger Hardin and David Hardin and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hal Hardin; parents, Buford and Susie Horn; and siblings, Dwight Horn, Dwayne Horn, Cedric Horn, Inez Edlin, and Ivogene Pinson.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors. A graveside service will follow at 1:15 p.m. at Highland Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Mickey Jackson officiating. Pallbearers include: Bradley Floyd, Elijah Floyd, Brent Lindsey, Eric Lindsey, Ethan Lindsey, and Trevor Richardson.
