Bobby L. Baker, age 88, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.

Bobby was born February 24, 1938, in Nowata, Oklahoma, to the late William and Margaret Case Baker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years Lela Baker in 2025

He is survived by two daughters, Beverly Zingg (Troy) and Barbara Williamson (Kenney) both of Lewisburg; son Steven Baker (Barbara) of Chapel Hill; six grandchildren, Justin Baker (Amber), Brandon Baker, Derick Williamson, Kristen Williamson, Matthew Williamson, and Conner Williamson; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Judith A. Tanner of California and Evelyn Campen of Fayetteville; half brother William Baker of Oklahoma; nieces and nephews, Donald W. Case, Daniel Robert Case, Dale L. Case, Karen Barnes, and Lisa Campen.

He will be remembered for the simple joys that brought him happiness and for the love he shared with those around him. A devoted Oklahoma Sooners fan, he took great pride in cheering on his team and was known as their number one supporter. He enjoyed playing darts, listening to bands at the VFW, working in the yard, and keeping his grass cut just the way he liked it. More than anything, he treasured time spent with family and friends, creating memories that will be held close by all who knew and loved him. He proudly served his country for four years in the Navy, a chapter of his life that reflected his dedication and strength. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were blessed to share in his life.

Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home and Crematory, 324 W. Church Street, Lewisburg, TN, on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm with cremation to follow.

London Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
