Judith Brown Lamb, 88, of the North Alabama and South Tennessee area, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Judith was a lifelong Christian and a proud member of Calvary Assembly Church. She loved the Lord and her family immensely and found joy in gathering for meals. In her free time, Judith found her passion in writing and would go on to become a children’s book author.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents, Reverend Elmon Brown Sr. and Janie Stevens Brown, three brothers: Elmon Brown, Jr., Steve Brown, and Tim Brown, and two grandchildren, Ty Atkinson and Little Tim Russell.
Judith is survived by her three daughters: Melanie (David) Bishop, Beverly Atkinson, and Cynthia (Tim) Russell, three brothers: Joel (Martha) Brown, Jon (Dana) Brown, and Paul (Lorna) Brown, four sisters: Rebecca (Ray) Wells, Cynthia Williams, Ann Glover, and Sarah Brown, six grandchildren: Emily (Justin) Young, Amanda Lachapelle, Amery Travis, Theran (Rebecca) Atkinson, Briget (Jeremy) Neeley, and Jessica (Davin) Sparks, nine great grandchildren: Jackson, Georgia, Christina, Natalie, Lila, Olivia, Raelynn, Emma, and Rylee, as well as numerous family members and friends.
There will be a Memorial Service held for Mrs. Lamb at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama, on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Pastor George Sawyer will officiate the service.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
