Mr. Bryon Buckner, age 62, of Scottsboro, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026. He was a loving husband, father, and papaw. Bryon was a big Alabama football fan and enjoyed fishing and traveling.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Bro. Nick West officiating. Burial will follow at Rice Cemetery in Belvidere, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Bryon is survived by his wife, Tammy Buckner; sons, Tommy Buckner and Kyle (Hannah) Buckner; daughter, Lisa (Dylan) Hereford; grandkids, Ava Buckner, Braylon Buckner, and Scarlett Hereford; brothers, Randy (Mary) Buckner, Danny (Virginia) Buckner, Tim (Connie) Buckner, and Doyle Buckner; sister, Nadine Maack; sisters in law, Donna and Susan Buckner; brother-in-law, Dickie Gray.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Ruby Buckner; brothers, Milton, Dwight, Bud, and Charles Buckner; infant twin brothers; sisters, Lanita Gray, Linda Buckner, and Wilma Jean Buckner; sisters in law, Carolyn Buckner and Ruby Buckner; and brother-in-law, Paul Maack.
