November 4, 1999 – June 20, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bonnie Jean Hudgins, who left this world on June 20, 2026, at the age of 26.
Bonnie was born on November 4, 1999, at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. From the very beginning, she brought joy, laughter, and light to those around her. Though her life was far too short, she filled every day with adventure, friendship, and love, leaving an unforgettable mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Bonnie was known for her vibrant spirit, contagious smile, quick wit, and larger-than-life personality. She had a gift for making people feel welcome and loved. Whether she was sharing a laugh, lending a helping hand, or simply being present for someone in need, Bonnie made friends wherever she went. Many who knew her considered her more than a friend—they considered her family.
She had a passion for fitness and enjoyed spending time at the gym and encouraging others in their fitness journeys. Bonnie also loved fishing, spending time outdoors, and playing basketball. She embraced life with enthusiasm and lived each day to the fullest. Her adventurous nature, sense of humor, and loving heart created countless memories that her family and friends will cherish forever.
Bonnie is survived by her mother, Amber Hudgins, and her fiancée, Carly Cunningham, along with many extended family members, dear friends, and loved ones whose lives were forever changed by knowing her.
To know Bonnie was to love her. Friends remember her as someone who could light up a room, make anyone laugh, and turn ordinary moments into treasured memories. Her kindness, loyalty, and genuine love for others touched countless lives. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Jean Nicholson, and Bob Lastfogel.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Bonnie at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 6028 Ebenezer Road, Greenbrier, Tennessee 37073. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 17, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again on Saturday, July 18, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
While our hearts are broken by her loss, we take comfort in the love she shared, the memories she created, and the joy she brought to so many. Bonnie’s spirit will live on in the stories told about her, the laughter she inspired, and the hearts she touched.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
“Until we meet again, your light will continue to shine in all who knew and loved you.”
