Shirley Estelle Oliver Nelson, age 77, of Sheffield, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Cypress Cove Nursing Home in Muscle Shoals. The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. The burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Tuscumbia.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Oliver; grandson, Josh Oliver; parents, William Johnny McBrayer and Lydia Lee Morris; brothers, Leonard McBrayer, James McBrayer, and Preston McBrayer; and sister, Elsie Gilliland.
She is survived by her son, Duane Oliver; brother, Johnny McBrayer; granddaughter-in-law, Christina Oliver; great-grand-child, Micah Vess, Ashton Oliver, Nevaeh Oliver, and Memphis Oliver.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
