Danny Mike Harris, age 69, of Joelton, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026, at his home.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Mr. Danny was born on January 7, 1957, in Keokuk, Iowa, to the late Franklin & Peggy Baskett Harris. He retired after 30 years as an IT Specialist with Metro Nashville Government. He enjoyed landscaping, gardening, working on cars and motorcycles, and was a jack of all trades. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and was a Christian.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Nelson; and his brother, David Harris.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Patricia Harris; daughters, Brenda Renee Adams (Jay), Cynthia Michelle Harris (Brandon Key), Kristy Danielle Harris (John Leslie), and Dana LeAnne Harris; brother, Ronnie Harris; sister, Tammy Grice; grandchildren, Chloe Harris-Adams, Aiden Key, and Marleigh Key; many loving nieces and nephews; and special furry friends, his guinea pig, Stretch, and cats, MJ and Jewel.
