Russell R. Dunn was born on December 11, 1945 in Pemiscot County, Missouri, the son of the late Roby S. and Eva Virginia Pleasant Dunn.
On July 11, 1970, he was united in marriage to Marilynn Fuhrman, who survives.
Russell graduated high school in 1964 in Caruthersville, Missouri. He earned his Associates Degree from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. In 1969 at the age of 24, he joined the military and honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. He began working for Federal Compress in 1972 and later worked for Caurthersville Cotton Warehouse in 1974 until his retirement after 45 years. Russell loved horses and gaited horses and liked to trail ride. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching his grandchildren play sports. Russell was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Savannah, Tennessee and Knights of Columbus for Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Missouri.
Russell R. Dunn departed this life on June 21, 2026 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 80 years, 6 months, and 10 days.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marilynn Dunn; son, Jason Dunn (Kelly); sister, Sharon Duncan; grandchildren, Anna Jane Dunn and Brody Dunn; and a host of special brothers in law, sisters in law, cousins, and friends.
