Etowah County man Dies After His Motorcycle Strikes Another Vehicle

HOLLY POND-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a  two-vehicle accident involving a motor cycle has taken the life of one person near Holly Pond:

“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 6 a.m. Thursday, June 11, has claimed the life of an Altoona man.

Tyler E. Maddox, 32, was fatally injured when the 2019 Kawasaki Z650 motorcycle that he was operating struck the1997 Dodge Ram 3500 driven by Joshua H. Boatright, 53, of Cullman. Maddox was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Alabama 91 near Cullman County 783, approximately three miles south of Holly Pond, in Cullman County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
